Hey Everyone!
TiMario, The Nintendo Gamer, here… I’ve got some exciting news to share today:
You may have seen me during some in-person Nintendo events or read/watched my (mostly Nintendo-focussed) content that’s appeared on SA Gamer in the past or more recently in NAG and here, our special local Nintendo-themed site The Nintendo Gamer. However, today I’m happy to announce that I will be collaborating with the local Nintendo Distributor Team as their News & Media Partner and Resident Streamer. What that means is that while we’ll continue to cover the news and tackle all the big reviews (here at nintendogamer.co.za), we’ll also be engaging with the local Nintendo audience more regularly via weekly streams and discussions over on the local Nintendo Discord channel (join using this link: https://discord.gg/MChxxjqj). And as part of the fun, we’ll also be doing some Gameplay videos/streams and giveaways around Nintendo’s big releases.
So, please be sure to subscribe to the channel if you haven’t already done so and spread the word so we can make this community even bigger!
To start us off with a boom our first Stream will be taking place tomorrow! And so we’re ready for the Mario Kart 8 Deluxe Booster Course Pass Wave 1 release later this month we’ll be hosting a Streamed Mario Kart Tournament tomorrow Saturday (5 March) from 18:30 to 19:30. And the winner of tomorrow’s tournament will be walking away with a prize from the local Nintendo Store!
If you’d like to compete in the tournament, we have limited spots available so please sign up using the link below as soon as it goes live at 12:00 today:

However, even if you’d just like to watch the races and join in some fun Nintendo chat along the way be sure to join our Discord channel.
And yes, while I’ll do my best to be involved in the chat, I’ll also be joining in for some of the races too so be sure to have your Blue Spiny Shell ready!
I can’t wait to see you all on the track tomorrow! Let’s a go!
