It’s a new year and Nintendo is up to the wonderfully odd antics we’ve become used to… shadow dropping the news that we were finally getting our first new Joy-Con 2 variations and a 5-minute long time Mario Tennis Fever trailer.

As to the new controllers – what may seem to you and me as Lilac and Turquoise are named Light-Purple and Light-Green on Nintendo’s official site for them. The new pastel coloured accecories will be available from the 12th of February 2026.

Mario Fever Tennis Trailer 

The trailer showed off a lot more about the new Fever Rackets, the huge new character roster and more about the different games modes and features. I was a fan of Mario Tennis Aces, and it looks like the new title has ever more to look forward to. Check out the full trailer below:
