Now, this is a rumour we’ve seen several times before. in fact, during The Legend Of Zelda’s 35th anniversary late last year (November 2021) many were pretty much convinced that we’d be getting at least a port of the Wii U’s Wind Waker HD on the Switch. Alas, fans were left disappointed.
This week, however, rumours that not only Wind Waker but also Twilight Princess would possibly be coming to the Switch later the year sprang up again. The reason this has popped up again is seemingly because of a response that GamesBeat’s journalist, Jeff Grubb, gave to a viewer question during his Game Mess podcast/youtube video series. During the episode, Grubb speculated that IF the game is coming it would make sense that it would arrive around October this year. Grubb is known as a bit of “an insider”, however, it should be noted that this was mentioned as part of a conversation and definitely framed as a possible (if educated) guess.
