This week (26-29 May) it’s Star Wars Celebration 2022, and while at least on the gaming front all the big news is about how Star Wars Jedi: Fallen Order is getting a sequel, Star Wars Jedi: Survivor coming to PS5, Xbox Series and PC in 2023, Nintendo also had some news for Star Wars fans. After the original KOTOR (Knights of the Old Republic) made its way onto the Switch earlier this year, yesterday we learned that KOTOR II: The Sith Lords will also be coming to the Switch on the 8th of June.
As per the website:
In this standalone sequel to the award-winning RPG STAR WARS: Knights of the Old Republic, the Sith Lords have hunted the Jedi to the edge of extinction and are on the verge of crushing the Old Republic. With the Jedi Order in ruin, the Republic’s only hope is a lone Jedi in exile struggling to reconnect with the Force.
While these are 20-year-old games that do show their age, some much-acclaimed writing and the promise of “restored content DLC” may be enough to get you to purchase them. And if you’re thinking of buying both you’ll be pleased to hear that Nintendo is offering them as a bundle.
