LEGO Super Mario got a big new addition yesterday as it was announced that the Koopa King would be joining the brick-built bunch. Unlike the smaller play-focussed Mario, Luigi and Peach-themed sets that were targetted almost exclusively at a younger audience, The Might Bowser is a massive 2,807 bricks build that is focused on more of ‘display and play’. Despite this, the Bowser figure still features some interactive elements (a fireball launcher and a “brick-built battle platform, which has 2 towers for him to knock over, a hidden POW Block and an Action Tag“).

After the simply wonderful Nintendo Entertainment System and the N64 Question Block builds this makes three giant builds that I’d absolutely love to own! The Mighty Bowser launches on the 1st of October 2022. Find out more details and watch the video here:
