For Pokémon fans – today was a big day. Not only was it officially Pokémon Day, but we also got a short but quite eventful Pokémon Presents video showcase. The biggest news obviously came near the end (with a Legends: Arceus update and the announcement of a new (Gen 9) Pokémon game coming later this year). However, for all the uber-fans out there who don’t want to missa thing – see below for everything announced:
Pokémon Go – Alola
Pokémon that first appeared in the Alola region from the Sun and Moon will be appearing in Pokémon Go, starting on the 1st of March. Until then, Alolan Exeggutor’s will be appearing.
Pokémon Masters EX
Celebrating their 2.5 year anniversary – with over 100 sync pairs and new Victory Road.
Pokémon Café Mix
New delivery feature. Look forward to meeting new-to-the-game Pokémon. Plus, new special outfits and the ability to unlock hidden speciality gimmicks. New puzzle mode coming early 2022. Three special events.
Pokémon Unite
New intense limited-time full-fury battles added today. Duraladon to join the game soon.
Pokémon Brilliant Diamond & Shining Pearl
Free gift. Claim by receiving Oak’s Letter and (after about 2 hours of gameplay) you can then encounter Shaymin and add them to your team.
Pokémon Legends: Arceus
Free “Daybreak” update (Ver 1.1.0). Investigate new mystery around mass Pokémon outbreaks. New battles with allied Pokémon at the training grounds. Available today! Production has started on a new animated series set in the Hisui region due to launch later this year.
Pokémon Scarlet and Pokémon Violet
