We play video games on a variety of consoles and love that now, perhaps more than ever, we have a great selection of games on all platforms. However, for obvious reasons, we don’t often cover Xbox or PlayStation news here at The Nintendo Gamer. Occasionally though, despite the fact that our focus is all things Nintendo in the SA context, news from Microsoft/Sony is big enough that we feel that not at least mentioning it will be a disservice to our fans. And earlier today, we got some Xbox news that we’re sure has everyone quite excited…

As revealed earlier today, Microsoft has confirmed that the Xbox & Bethesda Games Showcase will be happening on the 12th of June at 7 pm SA time. This was somewhat expected, however, with the cancellation of E3 this year – there was some uncertainty as to whether or not (or at least when) Xbox/Bethesda would decide to showcase their upcoming titles. So, it’s great to have some official confirmation. Starfield gameplay will likely be the main attraction, however, we’re sure there are some fun surprises in store too!
