Annapurna Interactive is gaining a reputation for publishing some pretty cool and unique indie titles lately. One that has definitely caught my eye is A Memoir Blue developed by Cloisters Interactive. Originally due to launch next month (10 February 2022), the game has now been pushed back to 24 March 2022 to ensure the game “launches in its best form”. It’s a small delay and the fact that it’s launching on every platform (including the Nintendo Switch of course) simultaneously is a feat in itself – so I for one am more than happy to wait a little longer. The only downside of this delay – is that March is becoming a pretty busy month with games like WRC 10 (17th) and Kirby and the Forgotten Land (25th) already filling up the calendar.
A Memoir Blue – Trailer
For those of you that haven’t seen the game, it has been described as an interactive poem exploring the relationship between a mother and daughter. It’s definitely an interesting blend of hand-drawn and 3D art that follows “Miriam’s magical-realist journey… as she swims into the depths of her memories.” Check out the trailer below…
